It is a service designed to care for patients who accidentally or otherwise, suffered injuries to body areas, which aesthetic importance require assessment and direct treatment by plastic or maxillofacial surgeons.

Some parts of the body that are addressed are: face, neck, hands, legs, etc.

Direct care by specialists in plastic and reconstructive and maxillofacial surgery allows us to solve most of the alterations on areas that may compromise fine motor functions, as would the wounds in hands and fingers, or to compromise the aesthetics of the person as: lesions on the face, ears, neck, legs (in women) and finally, combinations of the above as: second and third degree burns or face trauma.

Chest pain. It is any abnormal sensation, usually oppressive or stabbing, which appears in the anterior chest region and may or may not extend to the neck, jaw, shoulders and/or arms. Chest pain has its origin in the various structures that make up the chest wall and/or one or more of the intrathoracic organs.

This study includes all procedures for prompt and effective assessment of any patient with chest pain and which primary goal is the detection of cardiovascular diseases, specifically those belonging to the group called Acute Coronary Syndrome such as Acute Myocardial Infarction and Angina Pectoris.

With the timely detection of Acute Coronary Syndrome, we can start early proper treatment to limit heart damage and avoid complications associated with it.

In addition, as part of the assessment of chest pain in Médica Sur’s ER, we simultaneously get the status of a Coronary Risk, as a complement to the initial study of the condition.

In the ER we treat conditions such as: Acute Myocardial Infarction, stable and unstable Angina, heart rate disorders, some disorders of the aorta, Diabetes Mellitus, Systemic Arterial Hypertension, Silent Ischemic Cardiopathy, changes in cholesterol and triglyceride levels, disorders related with smoking, the Metabolic Syndrome and diseases directly related to being overweight.
